A Bangladeshi worker was slaughtered at Taif in Mekkah, Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, reports UNB from Moulvibazar.
The deceased was identified as M Jamir Miah, 36, son of late Yunus Miah, a resident of Bhanubil village in Kamalganj upazila of the district.
Family sources said Jamir had been working in a garden at Taif for the last 11 years.
They said Jamir’s employer had enmity with his (employer) nephew over family matters.
The employer’s nephew is believed to have slaughtered Jamir in his sleep.
