Leasing and finance cos assoc gets new committee
Mafizuddin Sarker has been elected chairman while Khalilur Rahman elected vice chairman of Bangladesh Leasing and Finance Companies Association (BLFCA), said a press statement yesterday. Mafizudddin Sarkar is managing director and CEO of Bangladesh Finance and Investment Co Ltd, and Khalilur Rahman is managing director and CEO of National Housing Finance and Investments Ltd. Other nine elected members of the executive committee are--Syed Ehsan Quadir, managing director of United Finance Ltd, S M Intekhab Alam, managing director of Phoenix Finance and Investments Ltd, MA Yousuf Khan, managing director of Peoples Leasing and Financial Services Ltd, Iftekhar Ali Khan, managing director of Bay Leasing and Investment Ltd, Alauddin Al-Azad, managing director of Hajj Finance Co Ltd, Mominul Islam, managing director of IPDC of Bangladesh Ltd, Hassan Md Ziaul Hoque Khan, CEO and managing director (CC) of IDLC Finance Ltd, S M Formanul Islam, executive director and CEO of Bangladesh Infrastructure Finance Fund Ltd, and Rashedul Haque, managing director of International Leasing and Financial Services Ltd. The election was held in the office of BLFCA at Motijheel in the capital recently.
