Hockey organiser Milu laid to rest

Sports Reporter An eminent hockey organizer of the county Mirza Farid Ahmed Milu was laid to rest at Azimpur graveyard after Magreb prayers in the capital yesterday. Mirza Farid Ahmed, who was popularly known as ‘Milu Bhai’ was killed in a road accident on Thursday at Uttara in the city while he was knocked down by a speedy bus. He was buried after the arrival of his son and daughter from the USA on Sunday morning almost three days after his death. The first namaj-e-janaza of deceased was held at Maulana Bhashani Hockey Stadium at 1.30 am. Hockey organisers and a scores of players and officials of different national sports federations attended the janaza.
