Five leaders of Bhuapur upazila AL expelled

Five leaders of Bhuapur upazila AL including upazila chairman have been expelled yesterday. President of Tangail district AL Fazlur Rahman Khan and Secretary Zaherul Islam signed the expelled letter.
The expelled AL leaders are ex-convener of Bhuapur upazila AL and Chairman of Bhuapur upazila parishad Abdul Halim, joint-secretary of Bhuapur upazila AL Md Amirul Islam Talukder, and Minhaj Uddin, joint secretary Ajharul Islam, secretary of poura AL Torikul Islam.
Sources said Chairman of Bhuapur upazila Abdul Halim, joint-secretary of the upazila AL Md Amirul Islam Talukder, and Minhaj Uddin have been expelled on charge of opposing AL nominated candidate Masudur Rahman directly.
Joint secretary Ajharul Islam and secretary of poura AL Torikul Islam have been expelled as they are contesting as rebel candidates.
