Majibur Rahman new envoy to Iran

The government has appointed AKM Majibur Rahman Bhuiyan, currently serving as the Director General in the Foreign Ministry, as the next Bangladesh Ambassador to Iran, reports UNB. Majibur Rahman, a career diplomat, served in Bangladesh Embassy in New Delhi, Tehran, Tokyo and Thimphu in different capacities. As a diplomat, he has extensive experience and specialisation in bilateral and multilateral issues, said a Foreign Ministry press release yesterday. Majibur Rahman also completed Oxford Foreign Service Programme from Oxford University and NDC course.
