Ex-MP passes away in Natore

Principal Ekramul Alam, former member of parliament from Natore, passed away due to cardiac arrest yesterday morning.  He was 59. Ekramul Alam, Baraigram upazila chairman and also the upazila unit BNP president, suffered the attack at his Bonpara Degree College residence and was immediately rushed to a local clinic where the attending doctor declared him dead at around 9.30 am. He is survived by his wife, one son, one daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
