Jatiya Press Club permanent member and former city editor and chief reporter of daily Janakantha Abdul Khaleq passed away at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in the capital yesterday afternoon, reports BSS. He was 68. Abdul Khaleq left behind wife, two sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death, said a press release. He was born in Comilla on April 7 in 1947. He started his career as a journalist by joining Dainik Azad in September 1968 after passing M.A. from Dhaka University.
