Shahadat aims to resume play cricket

Sports Reporter

Tainted fast bowler Shahadat Hossain Rajib yesterday came to BCB in a bid to start his rehab after getting free on bail following the case of torturing his 11-year-old housemaid.
Rajib suffered a knee injury during the Test against Pakistan in May after which he had surgery in Australia. He was supposed to start his rehab but he surrendered to the court after the case was filed against him and his wife.
The court then sent him to the jail. His first bail plea was scrapped before he got it in the second time on December 8.
After attaining the bail, it was the first time he came to the BCB. “I went to BCB for medical purpose. I have no problem with BCB and I don’t know what they will do. BCB president will take the decision and what he thinks good, he will do for me.”
