7 police officers promoted to addl IG

Seven senior police officers of the rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) have been promoted to Additional Inspector General, reports UNB. The Home Ministry issued a notification in this regard yesterday. The promoted police officers are Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia, vice-principal of Bangladesh Police Academy Amulya Bhushan Barua, Director of Central Police Hospital Dr Mohammad Sadiqur Rahman, DIG Mohammad Nazibur Rahman, Addl IG (Current Charge) of Police Headquarters Md Moinur Rahman Chowdhhury, Addl IG (Current Charge) of Armed Police Battalion Siddiqur Rahman and Addl IG (Current Charge) of Police HQs Md Abul Kashem.
