Le Meridien offers Christmas and New Year�s Eve specials

Le Mridien Dhaka, the countrys new premiere luxury hotel, is gearing up for Christmas and New Years Eve with a variety of offers for its customers.
The celebrations begins well before Christmas Eve as The Chocolate Room at Latest Recipe expands to retail with the hotels latest product line Chocolate by Le Mridien Dhaka, available for sale at its lobby lounge bar Latitude 23 along with a selection of Christmas cakes and cookies. Coming in chic boxes of 6, 12 and 24 pieces, the chocolates cost BDT 600++, BDT 1,000++ and BDT 1,800++ respectively.
On Christmas Eve (from 7 pm till midnight), all three of the hotels major dining venues will be revved up with Christmas delicacies. While the popular all day dining restaurant Latest Recipe will be offering a special Christmas Buffet Dinner (BDT 3,600++ per person) with over 100 dishes, including roast whole turkey with cranberry sauce in glazed chestnut, potato and carrot stew, roast duck with caramelised cinnamon pears, chocolate yule log cake, grissini stick, variety of pasta, walnut avocado blue cheese salad, etc., its classic Italian restaurant Favola will be offering a Five-Course Christmas Dinner (BDT 3,800++ per person) with choices of three main course such as chestnut stuffed turkey breasts with cranberry sauce and two desserts such as yogurt panna cotta with strawberry sauce and Sicilian cassata with candied fruits and soft pistachio cream, the specialty Mediterranean restaurant Olea Three-Course Christmas Dinner (BDT 3,800++ per person) with assorted mezzeh platter of grills and kebabs and choices of main course from Egypt, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
On Christmas Day, the hotel will host its first Childrens Christmas Party by the Skyline Infinity Pool (rooftop). Starting from 10:30 am till 3:30 pm in the afternoon, with magic show, ventriloquism, balloon show, table tricks, fortune-telling, face painting, bioscope, ball house, candy floss, popcorn, muffins and cupcakes, hot chocolate with marshmallows and milkshakes, it promises to be a memorable Christmas for hotels littlest guests. Not to mention that Santa will be himself in attendance with a bag full of goodies and gifts. A kids buffet with hotdog, chocolate fountain, cheese ball, pizza, mini burger, nugget, potato wedges,croquettes and other items is also part of the ticket price of only BDT 1,500 (inclusive of service charge and VAT).
Guests of the Childrens Christmas Party are also able to present their ticketstub at Latest Recipe from anytime between 25 December 2015 and January 4, 2016 to enjoy 25% discount on buffet meals (one-time discount per ticket per cheque only). This exclusive discount opportunity is also open for the Christmas Family Brunch (BDT 3,600 inclusive of service charge and VAT) that will be available at the Latest Recipe on Christmas Day,
December celebrations will continue on New Years Eve with New Years Eve Buffet Fest ( December 31, 7 pm 01:00 am). At an entry fee of only BDT 5,000++ for multiple access to floor 15 dining outlets including 15 Above (English pub), guests may eat all they can, anywhere they can, as many times they can and as long as they can within the six hours. The special one-night buffet at Favola and extended buffet at Latest Recipe present exotic cuisine such as smoked salmon cucumber salad, cucumber mint soup, Bloody-Mary mussels, sushi, sashimi and maki, assorted satays, almond-apple stuffed rabbit roll served with green almond sauce, beef braised in red wine, onion and gravy scented in truffle oil, green apple mint shooter, carrot cake with cream cheese icing, etc.
Guests should keep in mind that seating is limited on a first-come-first-served basis. Room packages with buffet breakfasts for two persons are also available for the night starting from BDT 11,000 (inclusive of service charge and VAT).
