Grocery shop owner shot dead

Cox’s Bazar: A local trader was shot to death by criminals in Ashrayonpara of Khurushkul union in Sadar upazila early yesterday, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Afsar, 23, a grocery shop owner in the area.
Aslam Hossain, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said a group of miscreants attacked Afsar’s shop around 2:30am and opened fire at him, leaving him dead on the spot.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital morgue.
“He might have been killed over previous enmity,” added the OC.
