CHITTAGONG: A construction worker died after being electrocuted in west Flour Mill area of Kalamia Bazar under Bakalia police station of the city yesterday. The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately. The worker came in contact with live electric wire while he was working there. Fellows rescued him in critical condition and sent him to the emergency department of Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where on duty doctor declared the worker dead, said Abul Mansur, officer-in-charge (OC) of Bakalia Police station. The body was sent to morgue for autopsy.
