Mehmood elected chairman of terry towel exporters assoc

Hossain Mehmood has been elected chairman of Bangladesh Terry Towel and Linen Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BTTLMEA).
Shah S Alam was also elected senior vice chairman while AKM Mahfuzur Rahman Bappi elected as vice chairman of the organisation, a press statement said yesterday.
Board of directors of Bangladesh Terry Towel and Linen Manufacturers and Exporters Association, representative organisation of the third largest export sector (home textile products), elected him for the term 2016 - 2017 at a election held recently.
 Hossain Mehmood is the Managing Director of Textile Division of Anwar Group. He is also the Director of The City Bank, IDLC and Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA) While Shah S Alam is the Managing Director of Unilliance Group Holding Limited and AKM Mahfuzur Rahman Bappi is involved in many other businesses beside Towel sector.
