Finance Minister AMA Muhith yesterday said Awami League has an action plan to make sure that militancy and fundamentalism can never affect the country, reports UNB.
“Both militancy and fundamentalism are our powerful opposition,” he said.
The minister came up with the remarks while he was unveiling the cover of a book at Bangla Academy on Dhaka University Campus.
He also said that he firmly believes militancy and fundamentalism can never affect the state power.
“We hate fundamentalism and we want to root out militancy and fundamentalism from our country,” said the Finance Minister. President of Bangla Academy and Emeritus Professor of DU Anisuzzaman, presided over the programme.
