Jamalpur: Police recovered the body of a woman from her house in South Kacharipara of the district town yesterday morning, reports UNB. The deceased was identified as Aleya Begum Swapna, 50, a field worker of Family Planning Department and wife of Sarwar Hossain, manager of Sreepur Kumuria Bazar branch of Sonali Bank. Police said Swapna’s daughter spotted her body with her hands and legs tied up lying in their room in the morning and informed police. Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Jamalpur Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy. Additional superintendent of police Shariful Haque confirmed the incident. Swapna might have been killed by miscreants, the ASP added.
