Pakistan wants to create Bangladesh a militant state, says shipping boss

Convener of the International War Crimes’ Mass Trial Committee and Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan said that the resolution passed by the Pakistan parliament regarding the execution of two war criminals in Bangladesh is because they want to convert Bangladesh into a militant state, reports BSS. He said “Pakistan has not forgotten the humiliation of the 1971 war. That’s why they want to create a militant state of Bangladesh”.
The minister was speaking at a labor rally at the Syedabad Bus Terminal organized by the International War Crimes’ Trial Mass Committee. Others who spoke at the meeting included the vice chairman of the Muktijoddha Sangsad, Ismat Kadir Gama, member-secretary of the mass trial committee, Osman Ali and president of the bus terminal committee, Rezaul Karim.
The meeting was chaired by the district road transport committee Abdul Wadud Nayan.
Shajahan Khan said transport workers provide services to the people. They did not pay heed to Khaleda Zia’s blockade. At her instance 92 drivers and helpers were killed.
He said the Pakistan high commission was providing fake currencies including US dollars to foment militancy, here. The minister accused one Mazhar Khan and another woman at the high commission for it. He urged the government to immediately announce them as persona non grata.
