3 shops fined Tk 13,000 in Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI: During separate drives, local office of Department of National Consumers Rights Protection (DNCRP) fined three consumers shops Taka 13,000 in different markets of the Rajshahi city yesterday, a DNCRP press release here said, reports BSS. A team led by Apurba Adhikary, Assistant Director of DNCRP, conducted drives in Seroil Bus Terminal Market and Vadra Crossing Market one after another and found the shops possessing and selling substandard, unhygienic and unhealthy foods. The team fined the shops and realized the fined money on the spot.
