1 held with gold at Dhaka airport

Customs officials arrested a man along with 442 pieces of viagra, 350gm gold, 18 Samsung Galaxy phone sets, five cartons of cigarettes and four kg molasses from Shahjalal International Airport in the capital yesterday, reports  UNB. The arrestee was identified as Mohammad Munna, hailing from Chittagong. Customs official said Munna came from Sharjah by a flight of Air Arabia around 9:30am. The officials challenged him when he was coming out of the airport through the green channel and recovered the items from his body and three bags. The value of the seized goods was estimated at Tk 50 lakh.
