7 killed in Bandarban road crash
5 more killed in Savar, Comilla, Tangail

Twelve people were killed, including seven in Bandarban, and 28 others injured in separate road accidents in Bandarban, Comilla and Tangail districts and Savar upazila yesterday, reports UNB.
In Bandarban, seven labourers were killed and eight others injured as a truck plunged into a roadside ditch for because of dense fog at Yeangcha in Lama upazila.
The deceased were identified as Mohammad Rakib,45, Mohammad Rajib,40, Mohammad Rabin,35, Aftab Hossain,55, Mohammad Amzad,42, and Alek Hossain, 21all residents of Ishwardi upazila in Pabnaand Hasan Ali,45, a resident of Satkhira.
In Savar, a labourer was killed and 10 others were injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck in Kalma area of the upazila.
The deceased was identified as Shahidul Islam, 40. Of the injured, six people were admitted to Enam Medical College Hospital.
In Comilla, two people were killed and another was injured as a bus hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Borokamta area of Debidwar upazila. The deceased were identified as Mohammad Abdur Rahim, 35, and Mohammad Sohel, 32.
In Tangail, two people were killed and nine others injured in a collision between a bus and a truck in Soratoil area of Kalihati upazila. The deceased were identified as Azizul Islam, 70, and Shahidul Islam, 45.
