Victory Day 'Pitha Utsab' attracted many in Pirganj

A daylong 'Pitha Utsab' (Caf, Festival) organised by Pirganj Women College on the Victory Day-2015 in Pirganj upazila town in the district attracted hundreds of people of all ages on Wednesday, reports BDSSn the morning, Principal of the reputed educational institution Professor Mostafizur Rahman formally inaugurated the 'Pitha Utsab' by cutting ribbon at a colourful ceremony in the college ground as the chief guest. On the occasion, the Principal highly appreciated the initiatives of the college students in organising the 'Pitha Utsab', displaying and selling different varieties of traditional 'Pithas' (cakes) there.
