Military band display on Victory Day in Kolkata
A military band display was organised at the Princep Ghat in Kolkata on Wednesday on the occasion of the Victory Day of the Bangladesh, says a pres release. A number of civil dignitaries along with family members and officers of Indian Army attended the programme. Lt Gen Praveen Bakshi, AVSM, VSM GOC in C Eastern Command was also present on the occasion, says a press release. Military Bands of Assam Regimental Centre, Shillong, Punjab Regimental Centre, Ramgarh, Army Air Defence School and College, Gopalpur and Pipe Bands of 12 GARHWAL RIFLE, 7 BIHAR REGIMENT, 5 ASSAM REGIMENT and 121 TA BATTALION captivated the crowd with their melodious tunes, according to a message received in the capital yesterday.
