Oracle sees strong growth in cloud revenue in Q2

Oracle Corporation recently announced fiscal 2016 Q2 results, says a press release.
The strengthening of the US dollar compared to foreign currencies had a significant impact on results in the quarter.
Total Cloud Revenues were $649 million, up 26 per cent in US dollars and up 31 per cent in constant currency. Cloud software as a service (SaaS) and platform as a service (PaaS) revenues were $484 million, up 34 per cent in US dollars and up 39 per cent in constant currency.
In Q2 the total revenues were $9.0 billion, down 6 per cent in US dollars and unchanged in constant currency.
