The name of the country’s first ever teen band was announced through the grand finale of GTV Fanta Band—a completely teen-oriented musical competition held at Bangladesh Film Development Corporation in the city on Sunday. The gala event was attended by various notable personalities from the music world of Bangladesh. After an intense few weeks of hard work, short listing and grooming, five talented singers--Shemonti Billal, Pranto Biswas, Marufa Jannat Trisha, Md. Zahidul Hassan and Oindriza Reza Nodi--were announced as the winners. Through this competition, they now have the opportunity to realize their lifelong dreams of achieving musical stardom by being the first teen band of the country.
Managing Director of Coca-Cola Bangladesh Shadab Khan announced the winners. Popular singers Elita Karim, Jon Kabir and Fuad Al-Muqtadir served as the judges. Shadab Khan said, “I am proud to have been given the opportunity to announce the finest teen talents of the country. After an extensive search for talent, the teens we have up here with us today are the best of the league.
