RAJSHAHI: Police seized a private car along with 1535 bottles of phensidyl from Amsho area on Mohar-Mathurapur road in Tanore upazila early yesterday, reports BSS. Local people found the car in a roadside ditch as its driver lost control over the steering at around 6.30 am. They informed the local police station when they discovered that the car was loaded with phensidyl bottles. However, the passengers of the vehicle fled the scene leaving the car behind. Anwar Hossain, officer-in-charge of Tanore police station, said being informed, a police team rushed to the spot and seized the car. They also recovered 1535 bottles of phensidyl from the car. However, no one was arrested in this connection, he added. A case was filed in this connection.
