30 shops gutted at Panchhari

KHAGRACHHARI:  At least 30 shops were gutted as a fire broke out at Panchhari Bazaar here early on Sunday, reports BSS.
Fire brigade sources told BSS that the fire originated from an electric short circuit in a shop of Noakhali Market of the area at about 4 am and soon engulfed the adjacent shops.
Being informed, fire fighters from Khagrachhari fire station rushed
to the spot and extin-g­­uished the blaze at about 5 am. No actual financial losses were so far known although shop owners claimed that the loss may about Tk one crore.
