The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has cleared a former manager of Biman Bangladesh Airlines of graft allegations, reports UNB. The Commission gave the clean chit to former Biman manager Tofazzal Hossain Khan (Planning and Scheduling) through an official notification, issued by ACC secretary Abu M Mustafa Kamal, posted on the ACC website on Monday. The ACC received allegations in December 2014 that Tofazzal Hossain amassed a huge amount wealth illegally and extended his job period by submitting of a fake certificate. Later, considering the allegations, the national anti-graft body initiated a probe against him. But, the ACC did not find any illegal wealth and irregularities of the Biman official. Besides, the ACC has cleared Rajuk authorised officer Mahabubur Rahman (now executive engineer of Khulna Development Authority) and Rajuk inspector Biswajit Sinha of a graft allegation.
