Forest bandit jailed

A mobile court led by executive magistrate and Assistant Commissioner (Land) Arifa Siddika fined and awarded a forest bandit yesterday for felling timber from Sakipur forest. He is identified as Abul Kashem, an inhabitant of ward no 5 of Sakhipur poura town.The mobile court awarded one year jail and fine of Tk one lakh on charge of felling timbers from Sakhipur forest. Abul Kashem was sent to jail yesterday.
