Man killed after setting own house afire

GAZIPUR: A man was burnt to death after he allegedly set fire to his own house in the city’s Tongi area yesterday afternoon over a family feud, reports UNB. The deceased was identified as Ajit, 30.
Mohammad Selim, station officer of Tongi Fire Service Station, said Ajit set afire his house at Purbo Arichpur from inside following a brawl with is wife. On information, a fire-fighting unit from Tongi rushed to the spot and doused the fire. They also recovered charred body of Ajit from a room.
