It seemed the last match of the league phase of BPL-3 stored all the funs and excitement. Barisal Bulls’ West Indies recruit Rayad Emrit made the unbelievable to the believable one when everybody gave up the hope of Bulls victory against Dhaka Dynamites. And rightly so. When a team was reeling to 94 for eight in 16.1 overs in the chase of 137, hardly anyone could bet for that team. Emrit however thought it different way. With the back to the wall, he unleashed an astonishing attack on Dhaka bowlers, aided by a clam presence of Nikhil Dutta. Every hit that he took was absolutely clean that gave fielders no chance to chase it. With the side needing 43 off 23, his calculative risk sailed the side to the home. He finally remained unbeaten on 54 of 28, hitting six fours and two sixes. It was his highest T20 score and the magnitude of the innings made him unanimous choice for being the player of the match.
