Mutual Trust Bank routed Apollo Hospital by comprehensive eight wickets in the opening match of the Bank Asia Weekend Corporate T-20 Cricket Tournament at City Club Ground yesterday.
Apollo Hospital bat first and made 150 for nine in 20 overs. In reply, Mutual Trust Bank run down the target with 31 balls and eight wickets in hand. Rasel Parvez struck 67 off 41 and named man of the match.
With the participation of six corporate houses of Bank Asia, Tex Style, Victorians, Easin Cable, Apollo Hospital and Mutual Trust Bank, the tournament has been started. Mehmud Hossain, managing director of Bank Asia inaugurated the meet. R Basil, executive director and CEO of Apollo Hospital and Ehethesham Rahman, vice president of Mutual Trust Bank Limited were also present.
