The body of the Bangladeshi peacekeeper in the United Nations who was killed in a terrorist attack on a UN vehicle in African country of Mali on May 25 reached home yesterday, reports UNB. A flight of Emirates Airlines carrying the body of sepoy Nilkantha Hajong landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka in the afternoon, said an ISPR release. He will be cremated at his village home in Sunamganj district today, it said. Nilkantha was killed and another soldier, Sirajul Islam, injured as armed terrorists opened fire on the UN vehicle in Bamako, the capital of Mali, on May 25, while they were going towards the south of the city from Bamako airport.
