Dhaka reach play-off before their last game

Dhaka Dynamites booked a play-off berth in the Bangladesh Premier League after Sylhet Super Stars went down to Comilla Victorian by 71 runs in the first match yesterday.
The Dynamites, a team owned by the country’s leading business conglomerate Beximco Limited, stepped into play-off phase much ahead of start their last match against Barisal Bulls yesterday.
Dhaka’s entry into last four was delayed after going down to Sylhet Super Stars in Wednesday’s match and they had to wait for their last match against Barisal Bulls to know their fate. They have eight points in nine matches while Super Stars collected six off nine before yesterday’s match. Sylhet had faced a must win game plus they have to do it on better net run rate than Dhaka. But an emphatic win for Comilla  ended all hopes of Sylhet to stay in contention.
