Three give deposition

SYLHET: Speedy Trial Tribunal yesterday recorded deposition of three more prosecution witnesses (PW) in the former finance minister Kibria killing case, reports BSS.
The tribunal Judge M Mokbul Ahsan recorded the deposition of eye witnesses Jamshed Miah, Zahedur Rahman and M Abdus Shahid.
The tribunal has recorded statements of 13 PWs so far in the case.
The 12 out of 14 accused of the case, including suspended mayor of Habiganj Pourasava GK Gous were present at the court, said the special prosecutor Advocate Kishore Kumar Kar.
He further said suspended Sylhet mayor Ariful Haque Chowdhury and former State Minister for Home Lutfozzaman Babar were not produced before the court due to their illness.
