Police arrest 53 in special drives

CHITTAGONG: Police in overnight drive arrested 53 people and seized 15 litres of liquor, 10 yaba tablets and 80 bottles phensedyl   from different upazilas of the district on Wednesday night.
Kazi Abdul Awal, additional superintendent of police (Special Branch) of Chittagong district police, said police in special drives from Wednesday night to Thursday morning, arrested 53 people from different upazilas of the district.”
Of them, 44 people are warranted accused in different cases and nine  others are accused in regular cases.
