Dhaka Export Processing Zone (DEPZ) organised a seminar to promote the country’s Northern and Southern Mongla, Ishwardi and Uttara EPZs in the capital on Wednesday.
Addressing the seminar, Abdus Sobhan, general manager of DEPZ, focused prevailing congenial investment climate of those. He hoped that in future the investors will be privileged to manage their business market through the Padma Bridge and Asian Highway.
The seminar also highlighted 7 years tax holiday, reduce rate for land and standard factory building, logistic support, connectivity with sea, rail, road and air and future facilities, which would be important factors to boost
up export performance of Mongla, Ishwardi and Uttara EPZs in future.
