Celebrity Cricket begins tomorrow

Brevar Celebrity Cricket is set to start at Shaheed Shuhrawardi Indoor Stadium in Mirpur on June 8.
Powered by Banglalink, a total of six teams including Banglalink Popcornlive Strikers, Dhoni Chitrer Hungkar, Telehome Titans, Vision PR Legend, UCF Warriors and Bongo Fighters are taking part in the two-day festival.
Roquibul Hasan, former Bangladesh skipper, revealed it at a press conference at a local city hotel yesterday.
Each team will be comprised of 12 players including two female, where they will field eight players with a female and a current or ex-national player.
The six-over match will held on round robin league system. A total of 15 league matches, based on which semifinals and final will be held.
Salma Adil, CFO of ‘Top of Mind’ and GM Kamrul Hasan, chief marketing officer of Pran-RFL Group Limited also spoke on the occasion.
