For the consecutive second match, Jahurul Islam Omee came up with superlative performance to steer Rangpur Riders go on the top of the point table. His 50 ball-62 not out against Comilla Victorians in difficult pitch was the testament of his sheer ability which most of the time went unnoticed. He never got the accolade what he should get for his outstanding aptitude. This remains the sad part of his cricketing career. However Omee’s decisive knock propelled Riders to a strong 153 for six in a pitch, not so conducive for the batsmen. He held together the innings in utmost patience but go onslaught when it mattered most. Given the wicket, the total that Riders amassed was enough to win the match and nothing exception was happened. Omee thereby won the match for the team for the second consecutive time and also became player of the match for the second consecutive game, only after Shakib Al Hasan.
