More than 3200 students from South Asia interacted with nearly 140 globally renowned European higher education institutions from 23 European countries at European Higher Education Virtual Fair (EHEVF) held recently, says a press release.
First of its kind, the event was held from November 26 to 29. The European Union organized the event to highlight what Europe has to offer in terms of the high quality and diversity of English-taught post-graduate and PhD courses and allow students to explore educational, scholarship and career opportunities in Europe.
Students had the opportunity to connect 'live' with European universities on one single platform through a series of webinars, live chats and Q&A sessions and find the right fit for their higher education needs.
A dedicated website was set up (www.study-europe.net) to provide institutional information on the higher education systems in 28 EU member states as well as on participating universities.
