1.21cr Indian rupees seized at Shahjalal Airport

A customs preventive team recovered around 1.21 crore Indian Rupees from an abandoned luggage at the ‘Lost and Found’ section of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport yesterday reports UNB.
Contacted, Assistant Commissioner of Dhaka Customs Shahiduzzaman Sarker said they recovered the Indian currency while searching a luggage at the ‘Lost and Found’ section around 12:45 pm.
The currency consignment might have been brought from Pakistan via Dubai, he said.
