In the match between Comilla Victorians and Barisal Bulls, Ahmed Shehzad was the only batsman who could dominate the bowlers from the words go. His 76 off 63, studded with 10 fours and a six, was the distant best in either side where the next best score was Bulls captain Mahmudullah Riyad’s 26. The number however said how impact he made in the match to steer Victorians a facile seven-wicket win over Bulls. The victory helped them seal the play-off spot as the first BPL team. In a tricky pitch, where stroke making was never easy, Shehzad showed his class by finding the gap repeatedly. It needed a great wrist work and waist flexibility which he did effortlessly and thereby his shots looked even more beautiful.
