The number of subscribers of Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (REB) has reached to 13.6 million people until November, says a press release.
In line with the Vision 2021, REB has taken up a number of activities at hand including construction of new power distribution lines to bring the whole population under power supply, the statement said.
During the last month, 3, 90, 838 new subscriptions were added across the country.
REB Chairman Brig Gen Moin Uddin has thanked all the employees of Pally Bidyut Samities (Rural Electricity Societies) for the achievement, the statement added.
