Two people were killed being hit by trains in the capital’s Airport and Khilgaon areas early Monday and Sunday night, reports UNB. One of the victims was identified as Nazrul Islam, 36, son of Jamshed of village Gangapur of Jagannathopur in Sunamganj district while another victim, aged about 45, remained unidentified. Police quoting witnesses said Nazrul came to Dhaka from Sunamganj early Monday. When he was crossing rail tracks at a place in between Airport railway station and Khilkhet rail crossing at around 5:30 am a train hit him, leaving him dead on the spot, police said. In another incident, an unidentified man, age around 45, died when a train on the rail tracks hit him at Ambagan of Khilgaon at around 8:30 pm on Sunday.
