A total of 459 answer sheets of the recently concluded Primary School Certificate (PSC) examinations were burnt in a mysterious fire in the sadar upazila complex in Sylhet on Saturday morning, reports UNB. A total of 450 teachers started checking the PSC answer sheets at sadar upazila complex on December 2. They found 459 answer sheets, tied in 14 bundles, lying burnt in a glass-covered room of the complex. A case was filed with the Shahporan Police Station on behalf of the sadar upazila education officer in connection with the fire incident. Deputy Director Tahmina Begum of Sylhet Divisional Primary Education Department said it might be an incident of sabotage.
