Debashish to appear as top crime reporter in �Mental�

The anchor-director acts as a jornalist of �Independent TV� in the film

Celebrated anchor-director Debashish Biswas, a brilliant persona who continues his journey contributing immensely to various fields of the country’s showbiz, will be seen this time playing a significant role in an upcoming film titled ‘Mental’ directed by Shamim Ahmed Roni. In the film, Debashish will appear as a top crime reporter of the country, who works for Independent TV—one of the most prominent news channels in Bangladesh. DhakaLive has news about Debashish’s involvement in ‘Mental’ that he took part in the shooting of the film back in the beginning of this year, and now started working for its dubbing from Friday.
Debashish said about working in the film with DhakaLive, “Though I usually receive many offers for working in the film, but due to time constraint and other reasons I cannot make any final commitments to act in them. Responding to utmost request of Shamim Ahmed Roni, I agreed to work in his film ‘Mental’.”
“I have played as a crime reporter of Independent TV; the most accomplished reporter of the country who is on an assignment after a top terror—a murder and serial killer. The serial killer now has become the talk of the town after committing three murders recently and surrendered to Detective Branch (DB) of the police. In an exciting situation like this, I am covering the news from outside of the DB office, and a conversation—which is yet to be discovered—is ongoing inside the office between the killer and police”, he added further while speaking about his role in the film. Produced by Versatile Media, popular actor Shakib Khan and dazzling model-actress Nusrat Imroz Tisha have played as hero-heroine in the film. The film is expected to release in the first quarter of the coming year.
