EC cancels nomination of 3 Moheshpur candidates

The returning officer of the Election Commission yesterday cancelled nomination papers of three candidates in Moheshpur municipality as after they were found flawed and incorrect. On the last day of scrutiny yesterday, nomination papers for two women reserved seats were also cancelled in Kotchandpur municipality. The returning officer in Moheshpur, Zahangir Hossain, said the EC cancelled the candidature of independent candidate Jahangir Hossain, Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) candidate Ramjan Ali and Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) candidate Nazib­uddowla Naser.
