RAJSHAHI: Speakers at a training workshop here yesterday viewed that Annual Confidential Report (ACR) must be authentic for the benefits of both employees and their respective institutions, reports BSS. They mentioned ACR is very important so the officers who are responsible for giving it to their subordinates must be free from biasness. The responsible officers should also be very much analytical relating to staff performance in duties. Ministry of Public Administration (MoPA) and Internal Resources Division of the Ministry of Finance (MoF) jointly organised the ACR/Dossier related workshop in the conference hall of Rajshahi Chamber of Commerce and Industry. A total of 50 class one officials from Income Taxes and Customs, VAT and Excise took part in the workshop. With Abdul Mannan Shikder, Commissioner of Customs, VAT and Excise, in the chair, Joint Secretary of MoF Bikash Chandra Shikder and Commissioner of Income Tax Dabir Uddin addressed the workshop as chief and special guests respectively. Disseminating her expertise, Begum Selina Khanom, Senior Assistant Secretary of MoPA, said, all the officials concerned should be careful and truthful during providing ACR so that transparency and accountability is ensured strictly. “You should earn confidence of all concerned,” she added.
