The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has cleared a councilor of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) of graft allegations, reports UNB. The Commission gave a clean chit to DNCC councilor (Ward No-6) M Rajjab Hossain through an official notification, issued recently by ACC secretary Abu M Mustafa Kamal, posted on the ACC website on Sunday. The ACC received a graft allegation in earlier 2014 that Rajjab Hossain amassed a huge amount of wealth illegally. Later, considering the allegation raised against him, the national anti-graft body initiated a probe. After conducting an inquiry against the city councilor, the ACC did not find any illegal wealth he accumulated.
