A court yesterday placed three suspected members of banned militant outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) on a five-day remand each. Magistrate Raihanul Islam of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court passed the order when DB inspector Azizul Haque produced them before the court seeking a 10-day remand for each. Those remanded are Meer Moazzem Hossain Saifi alias Jarmin, AHM Khairul Asad alias Sohag and Mohammad Kafil Uddin Bin Amin. Earlier, Detectives Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police yesterday arrested three members of banned militant outfit JMB from Uttara in the capital yesterday. They also seized huge numbers of Jiahadi books, one mobile phone jammer from their possession, said Deputy Police Commissioner Muntasirul Islam Rony.
