Momo to play widow in 
tele-drama ‘Prem Tumi’

National Film Award winning actress Zakia Bari Momo acted in a special tele-drama titled ‘Prem Tumi’, directed by Mizanur Rahman, for the occasion of Valentine’s Day. She acted opposite audience-admired actors Apurba and Hillol in the tele-drama. DhakaLive has news that for her role as Nayna,  a widow, Momo gave an extraordinary performance. In the story of the tele-drama, Nayna and Saif have feelings for each other, but neither of them could express their feelings to one another. In time, Nayna gets married to someone else and Saif and Nayna are separated. But after two years, unfortunately, Nayna’s husband passes away. Saif now wants to come back to Nayna’s life again. The story of the tele-drama moves forward from there. Regarding her role as Nayna in the tele-drama, the actress said, “This is the first time that I have played the role of a widow. I prepared myself from before for this role compared to my other works. There is a lot of depth in Nayna’s character. After a long time I had the opportunity to work in a fantastic story and play an extraordinary role. I am very satisfied with the work and I sincerely hope that the viewers appreciate it as well.”
To note, Zakia Bari Momo has started working in a new drama serial titled ‘Ditio Kisum’, directed by Sokal Ahmed and produced by Mahfuz Ahmed. Momo acted in films like ‘Daruchini Dwip’ by Taukir Ahmed, Raqibul Alam Raqib’s ‘Prem Korbo Tomar Shathe’ and ‘Chuye Dilo Mon’ by Shihab Shahin.
