Nahid for improving standard of educational institutions

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid yesterday urged engineers of Education Engineering Department to improve constructional standard of educational institutions to supplement the efforts for expansion of education in the country, reports BSS. “You (engineers) must work with honesty and sincerity while working for construction works of educational institutions. No negligence in this regard will be tolerated,” he told a national conference of Diploma Engineers Associations in the auditorium of Institutions of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh (IDEB) here. Secretary-in-charge of the Education Ministry AS Mahmud, Chief Engineers of Education Engineering Department Dewan Mohammad Hanjala and President of IDEB AKMA Hamid, among others, addressed the convention with President of Diploma Engineers Associations Md Aminul Islam Bhuiyan in the chair.
